My old workplace has redone their website, it’s looking pretty spiffy, and it definitely feels ‘on brand’. Congratulations to the team on rolling out a cohesive and successful site.
Negatives are: the (accidental?) transgendered person on the home page, kinda funny but kinda weird, lack of impact of the main logo, which has always been a problem, (purple on purple). I’m surprised there is no autocomplete on the search and I feel some of the paragraphs could do with a leading increase to make for slightly easier readability.
Making the blog part of the home page, and bringing more staff driven content to the forefront is definitely a positive step, and it does feel slightly more … slicker; a lot more approachable than the vodafone ‘shopfront’ homepage.
On a personal note I’m mainly glad that a lot of the functionality that I developed while there hasn’t been lost.
