Notify – Gmail Menubar Notifaction for OSX
A new alternative Gmail menubar notifier from up-and-coming software and graphic design company Vibealicious. Notify has a pretty slick interface and supports multiple accounts as well as growl integration.
A few glitches I have noticed:
-The icon disappears when there is unread mail in the inbox leaving only the unread count itself [update: hasn’t manifested on my second install on my work machine]
-Opening a message via the notifier doesn’t automatically flag it as read.
Hopefully these are merely teething issues which will be ironed out quickly.
