andrewlong: As of today (Wednesday 19th August, 2009), this site (http://andrew-long.name) has made it to the top of Google search for “Andrew Long”. Usually an abstract painter has the number 1 slot but not today! Not sure how much significance to attach to this ordinal rank, particularly when Bing ranks this site at position 20 and Yahoo ranks it position 3. Note that I did the search because I needed my Department profile link rather than an explicit vanity search (well, this time at least). Hate to burst your bubble, but you may want to sign out of google before checking this next time (andrewlong.net still has top position on my results). Google will automatically promote previously visited sites.
