Fever° is a brand new feed reading solution from Shaun Inman - designed to help you keep up with the growing list of unread articles in your current feed reader (mine number in the 1000’s). The strength of the application lies in the feed setup, using smart filters to create a ‘hot list’ of most talked about articles / items which are created by distinguishing your feeds into either an essential or supplemental category (‘kindling’ and ‘sparks’ respectively). Sparks ignite Kindling raising the temperature of items and links which are then pushed to the top of your hotlist.
Designed to also be easily accessible from iphone, or any portable device, Fever° has a beautiful minimalist osx inspired layout with some neat javascript integration.
Fever° requires a hosting solution and is deployed on your own server, and is available for $30 USD and looks to be the biz. I will be giving this a whirl this weekend, wallet willing.
