Nailed it.
Honestly. WHO FUCKING CARES. Guess what, police can be assholes. They use pepper spray. Is this somehow new all of the sudden? If you protest ANYTHING, there is a very high possibility you MIGHT get pepper sprayed, regardless of how peaceful you are. For all I care let these assholes keep getting pepper sprayed, there are MEN who got far worse then pepper sprayed who fought over something more than what these hippies call “greed.” They got sprayed all right; by German MG42 machine GUNS, and Japanese Type 96 machine GUNS. Think about that. You know what, you wanna prove something to me, get pepper spayed and not complain about it. Yea, I know it hurts, but if it’s something you believe in than isin’t it worth it? I’m sick of it all.
I guess that’s settled, then.

Cloak, the drop-dead-simple VPN (virtual private network) service for securing your internet connection at public hot spots, is now out for iPhone and iPad.
This is one of my favorite new services in years. Since I work at home, I try to get out to coffee shops, and I travel a few times a year. But security on public hot spots is typically a joke, and VPN services have maintained their cruft and complexity from The Old Days.
Cloak fixes all that. Install it on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad, add your username and password, and flip a switch to encrypt your connection from prying eyes. On Mac, you can even tell Cloak to fire up automatically when you connect to any unknown networks. Wonderfully simple, comfortably secure.
Cloak offers a free plan so you can try it out with unlimited data that’s capped at two hours of usage per month. Paid plans start at $8 for 20GB of data per month and unlimited time. I’ve been beta testing Cloak for months and I can’t recommend it enough. If you care about keeping your online activity private while in public, you need Cloak.

Simple
Any bank that values design at this level has my business. In an industry that desperately needs innovation and creativity, Simple is clear at the right time and the right place.
I’m not quite sure I’m sold on the service quite yet, but Simple undoubtedly has some design genius behind it.

My advice for entrepreneurs: Wake up terrified every morning. If that intimidates you, consider working for somebody.

Studio Profile: Sons & Co.
design/array profiles the reclusive Sons&Co — covering their work methods, clients and recent projects. Fascinating look behind the doors of one of NZ’s top web design studios.
Architecture and Women. Fantastic to see this website, developed by BizDojo Auckland residents Ghost Street, Viren Ratan and Big Voice, continuing to pick up lots of great coverage in the media. The website addresses the question of what happens to New Zealand’s women architects after they graduate? Cofounded by Auckland University architecture alumna Sarah Treadwell, who heads the School of Architecture and Planning, the website wants to capture the who, when, where, and how of this country’s women architecture graduates. The information will become part of a Architecture + Women exhibition in 2013, a show that will mark the 80th anniversary of NZ’s first female architect graduate, and 120 years of this country’s suffrage movement.
We dropped this site last month, and it’s proved incredibly popular - stay tuned as we’ll be adding more features to it later on this year - and also be sure to pass it on to any Female NZ Architects you know - there are a few out there.
