DateLine →
DateLine is a small, simple app which displays a linear calendar on your desktop in a transparent window. It provides easy access to iCal by double clicking on a day. The background and text colors are customizable with support for transparency. DateLine is also incredibly gorgeous, unobtrusive and my new must-have application. (via Daring Fireball)

Ellipsis Truncation in CSS →
Reblogged for future reference. Mint’s Justin Maxwell describes a cross-browser solution for trimming long strings using pure CSS (and a Firefox binding). How did I not know about this? Already implemented in one project today. (via matthewb)

When it comes to websites for agencies, I’d say the latest Crispin Porter is doing it the best.
