ok, so this is my new favouritest interactive music video ever, the animation is flawless, and the brush, oh the brush!
Perfectly executed, and just downright beautiful.
This video puts all the joy back in painting that years and years of digital computer work have taken out.

Designing Firefox 3.2 →
Pretty cool article from iA, concerning how browser tabs may have become obsolete.
While replacing the browsing window with an itunes-esque thumbcover layout is all good in theory, the beauty of tabs is that the navigation is always present and doesnt interrupt the browsing experience, I’ve always wondered more about an autohidden navigation interface, that tapped into this method of...

What's in store at Michael Lett's s/f →
this store and the womens fox hunting jacket in the army surplus store are the highlights of my walk to and from work. The sex shops are just an added bonus.
taf:
I had no idea this tiny store disguised among the sex shops existed until today, but I’m told it has been really popular. It’s only open on Saturdays between 11 and 4 but has attracted quite a gathering of people interested in...

– Fox to strip extras from rental DVDs | Crave - CNET
Great idea, I have no issue with purchased dvd’s having more extras than rentals. If i’m going to pay ~3 times the price for my own copy, it’d be nice to have some exclusive content. Given the recent surge in rental rates, -...

If Media Were Most Delicious Cakes
Currently this is how things stack up in the media world - with regards to music, films, television content, and to a far lesser degree software.
Option 1 - Legitimate Cake Purchase
Pros :
The cake maker and cake distributor are paid for their cakes.
This is legal
Cons :
The cake is likely not to be fresh anymore
The cake can only be eaten in 4 different places
You can only...
